  I've been coming to Jade Garden since I was a teenager and used to think the food was lackluster-- then I had a revelation.
  
  After becoming a vegetarian, I was more apt to try some of their tofu-based dishes and let me tell you, they are ARTISTS with that fermented soy stuff. If you like spicy stuff (what sound-minded person doesn't), order the "Bean Curd Home". It's an interesting take on the home-style bean curd recipes common in the Hunan province. It's got a nice kick and filled with all manner of vegetable goodness... and apparently I'm the only person that orders the stuff.
  
  The vegetables are very generic and used unimaginatively in nearly every dish (cabbage, broccoli, bell pepper, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, carrots), but the portion sizes are generous and the price is great.
  
  A special mention goes out to the staff who are lovely people. The couple that owns it are great folks, and though their English is spotty at best, make conversation while putting your order together. There have been several times where they refuse a tip, citing that the only tip they need is to make sure that "nice people" go to sleep full.
  
  No fuss, guilt-ridden, Chimerican goodness at it's finest... every time I visit the beach, I stop by.

  The people here are wonderful.  They serve generous portions of great food.  Their prices are very low comparatively.  It would be hard to get this much food for the price anywhere else on the beach.  They offer a variety of lunch specials.  The vegetables are fresh and tasty.  The food is cooked fresh and hot.  There are a few tables inside and a few tables outside.  This is a great hidden gem in PCB at the corner of 98 & Thomas Drive.

  Favorite Chinese restaurant in pc. They went out of their way for me. They've been here since I was a kid n the chicken n broccoli is my favorite menu item.

  *UPDATE* Please understand that I NEVER discuss such private things. But I feel it's important to let people know that I ordered on my dinner break at work, and as soon as I clocked back in, less than 20 minutes of taking my last bite, I had to throw away my underpants. I'm absolutely mortified, but feel people should be aware. The chicken tasted odd to me, but I assumed it was because it was dark meat. Oh how very wrong I was! I hate to see a place close but I'm advising everybody I know not to eat here. I'm so sorry. I'm also trapped on toilet for probably the rest of my shift tonight.
  
  Cheap. Huge portions. It's not a buffet. I got the chicken fried rice and it has HUGE chunks of chicken. Flavor is a little lacking and I wish I had some YumYum sauce. But this'll probably be about three or four meals for me and it was less than $9. The egg rolls are insanely crispy, which for me is a VERY good thing! Absolutely hands down best pork egg roll on the Beach. Definitely worth the separate cost.

  Hey it's no frills, family run, very small, but the food is fixed on the spot, hot & fresh...great shrimp fried rice......great value for the price!
